Discover the cultural façade of the youngest city in Bolivia
The Cholets are local architectural designs at the city of El Alto. They mix the modern architecture with the local Aymara design, resulting in very colorful tall buildings that represent the wealth of local people in a rather poor environment.
They are a symbol of the new wealthy families of the area, who have built their own castle. The name cholet is formed by the words cholo (mestizo) and chalet.
We guarantee you will be amazed by the buildings from outside and even more from the inside.
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the line of the cable car that will transfer you to El Alto. Short walk on the area and drive to a neighborhood filled with different designs of cholets. Visit one of the buildings from the inside.
