Sucre is without any doubt, one of the most beautiful and well preserved colonial cities in America.

Sucre has many features that can satisfy the various interests of its visitors. In the surroundings is Tarabuco, one of the purest and most colorful markets in America where bartering is still seen.

There are also areas for hiking in the mountains where landscapes are full of color. Sucre allows its visitors to share and interact with the authentic indigenous communities, descendants of the Quechuas.

Only 15 minutes from the center, the largest site for Dinosaur Footprints in the World has been discovered.

Chuquisaqueños (spicy sausages), Mondongo, Salteñas (spicy pasty), and Ckocko of Chicken (chicken cooked in the traditional corn alcohol), are some of the specialties of the region’s cuisine. A variety of tasty confectionery and desserts are also available.
